Amrita Kak is a very well known Bollywood singer and is considered to be the  'rakhi' sister of  actor Salman Khan.

Hence, she has sung some popular songs in many Salman's films. Amrita is the daughter of politician and actress Bina Kak. She has recorded several songs for Hindi films and, most of the films were produced by or featured Salman Khan and his family. Her  famous songs are  'Just Chill",' 'Tujhe Aksa Beach,' 'Love Me Love Me,' 'Character Dheela,' 'Dhinka Chika,' and 'Desi Beat.'  Amrita married Riju Jhunjhunwala on May 29, 2010, son of a wealthy Marwadi business family and Managing Director of Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving Mills Ltd., which is owned by his family.

In October 2012, she gave birth to a boy, who they named 'Jawahar,' who is the patriarch of Gandhi-Nehru family.
